Notes on Davis |
an experiment in novel development The following notes are intended for the author in collaboration with himself in order to formulate characters. They are posted here for your perusal. |
Davis hasn't voted since he ran, unwillingly, for class president in the second grade. "I don't believe in politics. I chose not to participate," he says.
The final attributes.
Scratch the dancing part....
Davis has a curious affection for animals. Often his sympathy for dogs interupts his ability to take care of himself. He believes dogs are closer to God than people. He's acutely aware of a dogs ability to see things human beings chose to ignore.
Dancing in the shower will be about a guy, Davis Rutherford III, who likes to dance. The problem is he dances at all the wrong times, in all the wrong places. He doesn't understand why people look at him so strangely when he dances. As dancing goes he's not half bad.
Davis Rutherford Malone
Davis believes he's acutely aware of the "order-of-things," as he calls it. People say of Davis that he's "out there." Thing is, Davis is acutely aware. Davis writes. He has a keen interest in psychology and philosophy--the nature of things. Davis is in the process of writing a thesis/manifesto that will reveal, what he calls, "The Great Secret." Davis will site his acute comprehension, of the universe by way of his mind's observations. Some ideas in the thesis will include : relative perception and his patented five human senses Disney cartoon comparison; suggesting one could trust the senses "like he could trust politicians."
Davis becomes more and more obsessive. He's got the answer. Temptation. And I think I hacve to do everything in code less the thieves take this all away.
